
Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, has congratulated Muslims in Oyo State and across Nigeria on the celebration of Maulud Nabiyy, the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In his goodwill message, Akinwole urged the Muslim faithful to use the occasion to reflect on the virtues of the Holy Prophet, particularly his humility, compassion, and commitment to peace.
He prayed for Allah’s blessings upon the people of Oyo State, while calling for continued unity, tolerance, and love among all residents irrespective of religious differences.
The LGSC boss also reaffirmed his commitment to the development of local government administration, noting that progress is best achieved in an atmosphere of peace and mutual respect.
