
The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has urged Nigerians to have faith that the country will overcome its present challenges with prayers and patience from the citizens for leaders to do the right things.
Ambassador Arapaja made these assertions in his New Year message which he personally signed but made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim.
Ambassador Arapaja extended his congratulatory message to the Oyo state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, his Deputy, Barr. Bayo Lawal and other members of the executives of the government.


Similarly, Amb. Arapaja congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadan land,Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin and the Olubadan-in-council as well as other traditional rulers across Oyo state.
He equally congratulated all the religious leaders from both Muslim and Christian religion, the state working committee of the PDP in Oyo state and the entire citizens saying that Oyo state under the leadership of Engr. Seyi Makinde, shall continue to progress and be counted among the best in the comity of States in the country.
According to the statement, “it is of great opportunity to witness the new year 2025, and the opportunity should not be taken for granted with deep reflections, we all have cause to be grateful to God, for the opportunity of seeing the year 2025.” He said.
Arapaja urged Nigerians to always support governments at all levels to make life bearable for the citizens, adding that they must live in peace and unity in the new year as no nation can ever survive without peace, which is a catalyst for development.
