Oyo PDP chieftain, Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire, has commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his unparalleled passion for service, which he described as unmatched in the history of Oyo State and across the nation.
Hon. Bibire also lauded Governor Makinde’s unbending commitment to governance in Oyo State.
The retired US Navy veteran made this bold declaration in a personally signed congratulatory statement to celebrate the Governor’s 57th birthday, which he made available on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
“Sir, you have redefined leadership with your unparalleled passion and unbending commitment to governance in Oyo State.
“This emboldens me to say, unequivocally and without exaggeration, that you are a rare gem in the history of Oyo State and Nigeria at large. And, your life-transforming, pro-people policies and groundbreaking developments stand as undeniable proof,” he said.
He amplified that Governor Makinde has demonstrated exemplary leadership, whose resulting positive impacts on the people have endeared him to their hearts as a servant leader with an unrelenting passion for growth and prosperity.
“When people ask me about the reasons behind the unprecedented love the people of Oyo State have for you, I always point to your evident excellence in leadership and the tangible benefits you have delivered,” Bibire noted.
He further established that Governor Makinde has consistently justified the mandate and love the people expressed at the ballot in 2019.
He continued, “We are proud of you and the many strides you have achieved in your service to the good people of Oyo State and the nation at large as the Governor and Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) respectively,” he added.
While wishing the Governor a prosperous birthday, Bibire prayed for God to grant him greater wisdom to continue steering Oyo State in the right direction and good health to advance his service to Nigerians.
