Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire, the founder of Bibire People’s Vision Association (BPVA) and Hope Also Needs Help Foundation (HANHF) as made a public communication announcing a change in the venue for the much-anticipated Xmas Funfair.
The event, initially scheduled to take place at Community High School, will now hold at the renowned and spacious Adamasingba Stadium
The seasoned philanthropist made this known today, Friday, through a self-recorded video that has since gone viral.

According to him, the decision was necessitated by a recent tragedy that has plunged many families, Oyo State, and indeed the entire nation into profound sorrow.
The retired US Navy veteran explained that although the annual celebration, which began in 2020, has always been carefully planned, the adjustment that greeted the venue was made to alleviate any apprehension attendees might have about the event.
He, however, assured the public that all necessary precautions have been taken, and measures put in place, to ensure tomorrow’s christmas Funfair proceeds without any issues.
Hon. Bibire, while praying for an end to such tragic development in Ibadan and Nigeria as a whole, emboldened the public to attend the event, stressing that there are numerous empowerment opportunities designed to improve the livelihoods of attendees.
He also assured that children would enjoy an unforgettable experience through various child-friendly activities, as they shall equally be receiving special gifts—flown from abroad—from Father Christmas.
It’s confirmed that the 5th edition of the Xmas Funfair will, as scheduled, commence at 10am tomorrow, Saturday, December 21, 2024.
