In his unwavering supports to complement the efforts of His Excellency, Engr Oluwaseyi Makinde in the light up Oyo Project, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Alh AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju has commenced the second phase installation of solar Street-light within the Council Area.
To ensure that the solar street light installations are in tandem with the standard and vision of the Executive Governor, Alh Adepoju along with his working cabinet were on an inspection tour to the concerned areas where the installations were being carried out.
According to the Chairman, the concerned areas were Okeparde, Daily Times, Abebi and Oniyanrin. Alh Adepoju maintained that the installation of the solar street light in the areas will reduce nefarious activities in the night and enable the residents to sleep with their two eyes closed.
The Chairman expressed his satisfaction on the work done so far by the contractor and affirmed that the commissioning of the solar street light will be done soon for public use.
On the Chairman’s Entourage were the Vice Chairman, Secretary, chief of staff, Supervisory councillors and Heads of Departments led by the Head of the Local Government Administration, Mrs Rachael Olabode.
