…Former Health Commissioner Dr. Bashir Bello Commends Dr. Fagbemi’ Professionalism and Dedication
The Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN) has recognized Chairman Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, for hisoutstanding contributions and commitment to Sustainable healthcare delivery in the state.
The award of recognition was given to Dr. Akin Fagbemi during the 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Association, themed “Aftermath Of Japa,” held at Nigeria Medical Association house, Total Garden, Ibadan.
Dr. Akin Fagbemi was given the award to recognize his transformative agenda in transforming Oyo state hospital management board in delivering sustainable healthcare delivery to the people of the state.
The association commended Governor Oluseyi Makinde for his visionary leadership by appointing Dr. Akin Fagbemi to the board as the right person for the job.
The association further applauded Dr. Akin Fagbemi for his commitment to ensuring the people of the state enjoyed the best of healthcare delivery and for his usual monitoring of healthcare workers in all the hospitals across the state.
In his remarks, Dr. Akin Fagbemi expressed his appreciation to MDCAN for recognizing the great efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde to ensure the people of the state enjoyed the best healthcare.
Dr. Fagbemi dedicated the award to Governor Oluseyi Makinde, describing him as the best coach who selected the best team players for the people’s benefit.
He assured the association of collaborating with the State House of Assembly to present bills that will ensure the welfare of healthcare workers in the state.
Dr. Fagbemi promised to commit to the well-being of healthcare workers and return the dignity of the healthcare profession in the state.
In his remarks, The former Commissioner for health, Dr. Bashir Bello, commends Dr. Akin Fagbemi for his input and commitment to healthcare delivery in Oyo state.
He expressed his confidence in the capabilities and professionalism of Akin Fagbemi who he described as a round peg in a round hole to deliver an efficient and effective healthcare delivery in the state.
The recognition of Dr. Akin Fagbemi is one of the several awards given to him for his great achievement and turning around of all the State hospitals.
