The Odidi-Omo Sapphire Ladies Coordinators have officially called for concerted efforts towards the successful execution of the OdidiOyo 2027 initiative. This initiative is aimed at Hon Adedeji Dhkirullahi Olajide Odidi-Omo as Governor of Oyo State coming 2027.
During a recent gathering held at the Odidi-Omo Constituency Offices, members of the Sapphire Ladies led by Chief Comrade (Mrs) Shittu Modupe Omotayo Oluyombo proudly known as Yommy Dee Destiny emphasized the need for collaboration among local stakeholders, government bodies, and community organizations. The coordinators which cut across the local governments in Ibadanland presented a comprehensive plan outlining their vision for Odidi 2027, which focuses on education, health, and economic empowerment for women and girls.
Comrade Yommy Dee stressed the importance of this initiative, stating, “Odidi 2027 is not just a project; it is a movement towards a better future for our women and the community at large. We believe that when women thrive, entire communities prosper.
The Honourable Representing Ibadan SouthWest/NorthWest Federal Constituency, Hon Adedeji Dhkirullahi Olajide Odidi-Omo is doing well, articulate and party man who we all need to support as our next governor in Oyo State.”
They discussed strategies for increasing women’s participation in leadership roles and enhancing access to resources.
Participants expressed their commitment to mobilizing support and resources to ensure the success of the Odidi 2027 initiative. Plans for upcoming workshops, community outreach programs, and fundraising events were also announced.
The Sapphire Ladies Coordinators are urging all citizens of Ibadanland to join the movement and contribute to the advancement of women’s rights and community growth. They believe that with collective action, the goals of Odidi 2027 can be achieved, paving the way for a brighter future for generations to come.
The gathering was Special Assistant on Special duties to Odidiomo Honourable Israel Olukunle Akindele and Personal Assistant to the Incoming Governor Honourable Olukunle Folarin among others.
The Odidi-Omo Sapphire Ladies Coordinators shall converge for similar gatherings on November 12 and 26 for Oyo Central and Oyo North Senatorial District respectively.
