In a significant political development, Engr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi has officially endorsed the Oyodotun Progressive Forum, a coalition of grassroots leaders and former councilors in Oyo State, in preparation for the upcoming 2027 gubernatorial elections.
The Oyodotun Progressive Forum, which consists of 80% of the immediate past councillors, dynamic and elegant professionals from all 351 wards in Oyo State.
The endorsement took place at the recent visit to Engr Jubril Dotun Sanusi at his resort in Ona Local Government Area.
During the meeting, the forum through their lead, Hon Kazeem Muili Arowodana expressed their unwavering support for Sanusi’s gubernatorial aspirations. The team comprises of notable leaders across the 7 Geopolitical Zones as well as the 14 Federal Constituencies. The purpose is to officially notified Engr Dotun Sanusi of the political coverage, and to seek for the Inauguration of all the political structures and Executives of this most unique Political support group.
In his response, Engr. Sanusi commended the group’s dedication and welcomed their endorsement, confirming that the forum will play a crucial role in his campaign team for the 2027 election.
“I am happy to receive you today and glad to have experienced political functionaries and grassroot mobilizer. I endorse Oyodotun Progressive Forum as one of my campaigns body towards the 2027 gubernatorial election. I also want to urge us to do the necessary things to actualize our dream. I promise that I am always available for us anyday anytime”, he stated.
This partnership is expected to strengthen his bid as he seeks to mobilize grassroots support across the state.
Oyodotun Progressive Forum is expected to be inaugurated very soon by Engr Jubril Dotun Sanusi at Ilaji Akanran Ibadan.
