The Jagun Olubadan of Ibadan land and Chairman/CEO Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Eng. Jubril Dotun Sanusi (JDS), has been named as the Chairman for the 2024 Igboora World Twins Festival. The grand finale is scheduled to hold on Saturday 12th October, 2024 at the main bowl of Methodist Grammar school playing ground, Saganun, Igboora by 10am.
The global event which is expected to host several tourists and dignitaries globally will have in attendance the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Eng. Seyi Makinde and members of Oyo State Executive Council while the Olu of Ilaro, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle is expected to lead Traditional rulers as the Royal father of the festival.

Eng. Jubril Dotun Sanusi stands out as an ingenious masterstroke. Born on October 17, 1968, in Ibadan.
Eng. Sanusi’s journey reflects his unrelenting pursuit of excellence and his significant contributions across various fields.
His early life was spent in the vibrant neighborhood of Ilaji in Idi-Arere before relocating with his family to Elekuro at the age of five.
Eng. Sanusi comes from esteemed lineages, with his father from the Olugbade house and his mother from the Ilaji house, both of Ibadan. His education began at Wesley Primary School in Elekuro and continued at Christ Apostolic Church Grammar School in Orita Aperin, Ibadan. These institutions played a pivotal role in shaping his early years, followed by higher education at the prestigious University of Ibadan.
Professionally, Sanusi gained experience working in the oil-rich Niger Delta region, contributing to projects in Rivers, Delta, and Edo states. His expertise in oil drilling led to positions with multinational companies before he ventured out to establish his own company in 2004. Specializing in petroleum engineering, he later shifted to precision surveying, excelling in wide-drilling and directional drilling.
Beyond his achievements in oil and gas, Sanusi’s entrepreneurial spirit drove him to diversify into education, farming, and hospitality. As the founder of Ilaji Farms, he promotes sustainable agriculture, and through his Ilaji Football Academy, he nurtures young football talent. He is also the visionary behind Ilaji Resort, a luxurious destination known for its serene environment and top-tier facilities. Sanusi is also the proprietor of the Ibadan College of Arts, Science, and Technology (ICAST), providing a comprehensive educational platform for aspiring students.
Sanusi’s cultural contributions are equally impressive, merging his passion for technology and art to create visually stunning projects that have earned him accolades across Ibadan’s artistic and technological communities. His commitment to community development is evident in his advocacy for education, youth empowerment, and innovation, exemplified by his mentorship and scholarship programs.
In recognition of his contributions, Sanusi was conferred the title of Asiwaju of Ona Ara by the Traditional Council of Ona Ara Local Government, led by Oba Tajudeen Ajibola, Otun Balogun of Ibadanland.
