Innocent Tallest has congratulated the Muslim Ummah in Oyo State, Nigeria and around the world on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
Tallest in a statement he personally signed, urged the Muslim Ummah and Nigerians in general to remember their promises and their decent life styles during the fasting period.
He encouraged them to emulate the sacrifices made by Prophet Ibrahim and his obedience to Almighty God, stating that it is important to be grateful to God for the privilege to be alive today to celebrate Sallah regardless of their circumstances.
According to him, the celebration, which is Islam’s feast of sacrifice, is very significant to the faith of Muslims, as it reminds them of the imperative of unconditional obedience to God.
He said the best way to show gratitude to God is to share His blessings with neighbours and show love and kindness to all as taught by the Holy Prophet Mohammed (PBOH).
Tallest calls on Nigerians not to lose hope but rather be fervent in prayers for God will in his infinite mercy soonest give us a leader as the current situation in the country is nothing to write home about in the history of the nation.
Tallest in his statement, charged the Muslim brothers and sisters to remember the sons and daughters of whom they are, he also emphasized on the significance of Eid al-Fitr, highlighting the values of peace, harmony, and unity that are essential for Nigeria’s progress. He urged Nigerians to come together, renew their commitment to the nation, and embrace the country’s diversity as a strength and uphold the unity.
Tallest acknowledged the challenges cost by our bad, selfish and corrupt leaders that the masses are facing today, including economic difficulties and security concerns, and stressed the need for unity and collaboration to overcome them. He encouraged the people to support one another, extend kindness to those in need, and strengthen the bonds that connect us all.
He prayed that the blessings of Eid al-Fitr bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to every home, inspiring Nigerians to strive for a more united and harmonious nation.
He believes that faith, determination and the Will of people will come to power and Nigeria will be built into a nation that reflects the shared values and aspirations of its people.
He heartily felicitated with all Nigerians and in particular the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid El Kabir.
