Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire, Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, has heaped praise on Governor Seyi Makinde as he marks five remarkable years in office as the Executive Governor of the Pacesetter State.
In a statement made available to the media this morning, Wednesday, Bibire lauded Governor Makinde’s unequalled commitment to the development of Oyo State, saying that his impressive achievements across various sectors lend credence to his purposeful leadership.
According to Honourable Fagbenro-Bibire, Governor Makinde’s administration has been a flagship of progress, bringing about a new era of peace, stability, and growth to the state.
He further commended the governor’s inclusive approach to governance, which has empowered the youth and promoted economic development through various initiatives.
“Let me establish that Governor Makinde’s five-year journey in piloting our affairs has been a transformative experience.
“Under Governor Makinde’s leadership, Oyo State has witnessed giant strides in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic development.
“His administration’s efforts have led to improved living standards, reduced poverty, and increased economic opportunities for our people.
“This is even as his selfless commitment to the welfare of the good people of Oyo State and his unrelenting pursuit of progress have earned him a special place in the hearts of many, not only in Oyo, but across the length and breadth of the world.
“So, I congratulate him on this milestone and urge him to continue his excellent work as everyone looks forward to seeing even greater achievements in the years to come,” Bibire said partly.
The staunch advocate of Seyi Makinde added by appealing to the people of Oyo State to continue supporting Governor Makinde as he forges ahead to take the state to even greater heights.
“As we celebrate this achievement, I appeal to the good people of Oyo State to continue supporting Governor Makinde as he strives to take our state to even greater heights,” he pleaded.
Hon. Bibire prayed Almighty God to continue guiding and directing the number one citizen of Oyo State as he embarked on the next phase of his administration.
