The Legislative House of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government under the leadership of Hon Kazeem Muili Arowodana who also represents the good people of Ward 8 has expressed their paramount appreciation to Almighty God and the Executive Chairman of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, Alhaji Rahman Adepoju for having the platform for the good 3years.
During the valedictory sitting of the legislative arm, the house also appreciates the good people of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government ranging from Ward 1 to 11, Oyo State and Diaspora for the privileged to serve, also gratitude to the party leaders, stakeholders, members and management staff of the local government area.
In the appreciation, the house acknowledged the achievements of the chairman in the first 3years, following the installation of solar lights, construction of Boreholes & Roads, Repair of Bridges, public health centers among others.
On behalf of the local government management staff, Mrs Ige Olaronke HLGA noted the cooperation with the members of the legislative and also with the chairman which gives peace in the local government area. She prayed for the advancement of the members in their future endeavours and family.
In response, the Executive Chairman Alhaji Rahman Adepoju stated,
“Firstly I acknowledged the Almighty God for the starting and finishing of 3years administration and I show gratitude to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde for the privilege to serve as Executive Chairman of local government.
I recognized the leaders, stakeholders and members of the party for the support and efforts for the first 3years.
I extend appreciation to the management staff for their cooperation and I pray that Almighty God makes you end well with much gratuity.
I recognize and salute my legislative arm starting from the leader of the house, Hon Kazeem Muili Arowodana and I pray that God continues to make you all alive and relevant.
The cooperation in the local government is for your love and understanding to me as the chairman and appreciate you all.
He promised to initiate every pending discussion and accommodated everyone as the chairman of the local government,” he stated.
He also acknowledged the effort of the Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration and promised to keep doing better in the second opportunity.
