Lagos stands at a critical crossroads. For too long, residents have endured crippling traffic, an overstretched health system, a deepening housing crisis, and infrastructure that struggles to keep pace with Africa’s largest city. As the 2027 governorship race approaches, the Laja Adeoye Campaign Organization is clear: Lagos needs a reset, and Laja Adeoye is the leader prepared to deliver it under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).

“Laja Adeoye is not offering more of the same. He is offering a fundamental reset of how Lagos should be governed,” said Kazeem Olalekan Ayodele, Spokesman of the Laja Adeoye Campaign Organization. “Our people deserve a city that works, where traffic does not steal hours from their lives, where quality healthcare is within reach, where affordable housing is not a distant dream, and where government serves with competence and urgency.”

Fixing Traffic: From Gridlock to Mobility
Lagos’s traffic crisis is more than an inconvenience; it is an economic and social emergency. Laja Adeoye’s plan prioritizes a multi-layered mobility strategy: aggressive expansion and enforcement of dedicated bus lanes, accelerated completion of critical road corridors, smarter traffic management systems powered by real-time data, and stronger integration of water transport and last-mile solutions. The goal is measurable reduction in average commute times and a city where movement is predictable rather than punishing.

Restoring Health: Primary Care First
The health sector will receive focused attention under a Laja Adeoye administration codenamed LAJACARE. Priority will go to strengthening primary healthcare centres across the state so that basic and preventive care is available close to communities. This will be matched with improved secondary facilities, better welfare and working conditions for health workers, and sustained investment in maternal, child, and emergency care. The vision is a Lagos where no family is forced to choose between seeking treatment and financial ruin.
Housing That Works for Ordinary Lagosians
Housing remains one of the most pressing challenges. Laja Adeoye’s approach centres on scaling up affordable housing delivery through public-private partnerships, unlocking underutilised land, streamlining approval processes, and targeting interventions for low- and middle-income earners. The campaign insists that home ownership and decent rental options must move from campaign rhetoric to measurable results within the first term.
A Broader Reset
Beyond traffic, health and housing, the Laja Adeoye agenda includes smarter urban planning, reliable power and water supply in partnership with relevant agencies, improved security coordination, and a government that is transparent, data-driven and responsive. The campaign emphasises that resetting Lagos requires both big vision and disciplined execution, qualities the organisation says Laja Adeoye has demonstrated in public service and private enterprise.
“Lagosians are tired of excuses,” Ayodele stated. “They want a governor who understands the daily struggles of the market woman in Oyingbo, the young professional stuck on the Third Mainland Bridge, the parent searching for a decent apartment, and the patient waiting for care. Laja Adeoye is that governor. In 2027, Lagos will choose renewal over stagnation.”
The Laja Adeoye Campaign Organization calls on all well-meaning Lagosians to join this movement for a city that works again, a Lagos reset for prosperity, dignity and hope.
