TINUBU TORCH BEARERS: OYO PEOPLE SHOW MASSIVE SUPPORT AS ALLI, APC STAKEHOLDERS RALLY FOR 2027

The people of Oyo State have demonstrated massive support for the Tinubu Torch Bearers (TTB) as the Oyo State Chapter was officially inaugurated at Liberty Stadium, Ibadan, amid a large gathering of party leaders, stakeholders, supporters and community members.

Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, who attended the inauguration, described the turnout as massive, saying the people of Oyo State “showed up and showed out” in support of the initiative and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The inauguration also featured a courtesy visit by members of the Tinubu Torch Bearers to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I.

Representing the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, OON, CON, at the event was the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, who delivered a message of support and encouragement to the gathering.

The event brought together prominent APC leaders, political stakeholders, supporters and members of communities across the state, with participants expressing their commitment to sustaining the policies and programmes of President Tinubu beyond the 2027 general elections.

According to Senator Alli, the Tinubu Torch Bearers is determined to strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC) structure in Oyo State ahead of the 2027 elections through greater mobilisation, unity and grassroots participation.

He described the massive participation as a reflection of the collective resolve of the people and an indication of their desire for continuity and sustained development.

Alli, the 2027 APC governorship candidate in Oyo State, said the strength demonstrated by party members and supporters at the inauguration underscored the importance of unity in achieving the party’s objectives.

He reiterated that keeping Oyo State “AHEAD” remains a shared vision, while calling for continued cooperation among party leaders, stakeholders and supporters.

The senator maintained that the Renewed Hope Agenda must continue, expressing confidence that Oyo State is prepared for the political contest ahead.

“Renewed Hope must continue. Oyo State is ready,” Alli declared.
