The Zenith Labour Party in Oyo State has officially unveiled prominent Ibadan-born businessman, Hon. Oluwaseun Ogundeyi, as consensus candidate for the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ogundeyi emerged during the party’s consensus process held at the state office of the party for Senatorial Districts and Federal Constituencies across Oyo State.
The exercise was supervised by the State Chairman and gubernatorial candidate of the party, Hon. Lane Hazan, alongside the party’s State Secretary and Chairman of the Primary Elections Committee, Hon. Olusola John and relevent stakeholders.
Speaking after the exercise, party leaders described Ogundeyi as a tested entrepreneur, grassroots mobilizer and visionary leader whose emergence would strengthen the party’s structure and popularity within the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency.
Ogundeyi, an international multi-business tycoon and Chairman of Otitolagba Radio/TV, was applauded by party stakeholders for his contributions to business development, youth empowerment and media advancement in Oyo State.
Party faithful at the event expressed confidence that his candidature would attract wider support for the Zenith Labour Party across the constituency and beyond.
In his remarks, Ogundeyi appreciated the leadership of the party for the confidence reposed in him, promising to deliver quality representation, people-oriented policies and effective grassroots engagement if elected.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to the growth of the party and the advancement of the people of Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency through inclusive leadership and sustainable development initiatives.
