The Executive Chairman of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, Alhaji AbdulRahman Adepoju has received the Prestigious Award of the Federation of Ibadan Students’ Union (National Council) for his exceptional leadership toward the development of Grassroots and Growth of Ibadan.
The awards presentation took place during the 2024 Swearing-in & Inauguration of Newly Elected Executives at Bode Amoo Hall, Ibadan House, Oke Aremo, Ibadan alongisde local government chairmen in Ibadan.
Receiving the award on behalf of Hon Adepoju, Hon Opeyemi Olumuyiwa, the director-general of the campaign and the deputy, Hon (Prince) Lateef Jaiyeoba, appreciated the body for recognizing the immense contributions of the Executive Chairman of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government to the sustainability of all initiatives of Ibadanland, adding that his role in the development of the cultural values and heritage of Ibadan, through his effective support.
Hon Olanrewaju has consistently demonstrated his commitment to grassroots development, aiming to bring about positive change at the grassroots level. Throughout his tenure, he has implemented various initiatives and programs that have had a significant impact on the lives of the residents of Ibadan South West. His focus on education, healthcare, infrastructure, and empowerment has transformed the local government area, making it a model for others to emulate.
