Prince Laja Adeoye Meets Lagos Leaders, Secures Backing for ‘Better Lagos Agenda 2027’

A Lagos State governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince (Hon.) Laja Adeoye, has met with key leaders of the party in Lagos, securing their support for his “Better Lagos Agenda 2027,” codenamed Atunto Eko 1.0.

The high-level meeting, held at the Ikoyi office of party chieftain, Chief Olabode George, brought together prominent figures within the PDP, including Board of Trustees member, Mrs. Onikepo Oshodi; former National Women Leader, Mrs. Aduke Maina; Lagos State Chairman, Dr. Amos Fawole; and Chief Rafiu Ogunbambi, the Odofin of Lagos. Also in attendance were members of the State Executive Committee, Local Government Area chairmen, and other party stakeholders.

Speaking after the meeting, Adeoye described the engagement as productive and significant, noting that the party leaders expressed full support for his policy blueprint aimed at repositioning Lagos for inclusive growth and prosperity.

He stated that the Better Lagos Agenda 2027 is designed to “re-engineer a better, prosperous, and more inclusive Lagos for all,” adding that the endorsement by party leaders reflects growing confidence in his vision.

The PDP aspirant urged party members and supporters to remain united and adhere to directives from party leadership as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Adeoye also expressed strong optimism about his candidacy, declaring that he would be on the ballot in the 2027 governorship election.
