Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, representing Oyo South Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly, has been praised for his long-standing contributions to governance, public service, and traditional leadership as he marks his birthday anniversary.
Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK), in a statement celebrating the senator, described him as an outstanding legislator and a “true son of the soil” whose life reflects persistence, excellence, and consistent service to the people.
According to AKK, Senator Alli’s political journey stands as a testament to visionary leadership and dedication to public good, noting that his representation in the National Assembly continues to bring value to Oyo South Senatorial District and aligns with the progressive ideals of the APC.
He recalled the senator’s extensive administrative experience, including his emergence as the first elected Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, his service as Secretary to the State Government (SSG), and later as Chief of Staff in Oyo State. Dr. Kareem also highlighted Senator Alli’s tenure as Chairman of Odu’a Investment Company Limited, saying it demonstrated his capacity to manage strategic economic institutions and deliver results-oriented leadership.
