A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Dr. Amuda Hafeez, popularly known as Kingsway, has reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to His Excellence Governor Seyi Makinde while throwing his full weight behind the party’s consensus candidate for Akinyele State Constituency I.
In a statement made available to the public, Amuda announced his decision to align with the directive of the party leadership, emphasizing the importance of unity, discipline, and collective progress over personal ambition.
He noted that although his political journey was driven by a strong desire to serve his constituents, he remains committed to the ideals of the PDP and the leadership of Governor Makinde.
Amuda also congratulated the consensus candidate, Hon. Lekan Abiola, pledging his total support and readiness to work together for the success of the party in the constituency.
According to him, his political structure and supporters are fully mobilized to back the party’s decision, describing his move as a demonstration of loyalty and responsible leadership.
He further stressed that his allegiance to Governor Makinde remains firm, assuring that he would continue to follow the governor’s leadership in advancing the party’s goals and delivering development to the people.
