Aspirant for the House of Representatives seat in Ibadan North-West/South-West Federal Constituency, Hon. Oluwatobi John Ogunbayo (OJO), has congratulated the newly affirmed national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressing confidence in their capacity to reposition the party for unity and growth.
Ogunbayo described the emergence of Professor Nentawe Yilwatda as National Chairman as timely and strategic, noting that his leadership qualities and experience would help strengthen internal cohesion and guide the party toward greater achievements.
He also praised the appointment of Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru as National Secretary, highlighting his deep understanding of party administration and his consistent role in building a more structured and disciplined APC.
Ogunbayo further lauded the re-election of Hon Dayo Israel, describing it as a reflection of confidence in his ability to energize and mobilize young people within the party.
According to him, the composition of the new leadership signals a renewed sense of purpose and stability for the APC at a critical time in Nigeria’s democratic journey.
“This leadership team brings experience, vision, and renewed energy. I am confident that their stewardship will strengthen unity within the party and restore greater confidence among members and supporters nationwide,” he said.
Reaffirming his loyalty to the party, Ogunbayo pledged to work closely with the leadership at all levels, stressing the importance of grassroots mobilisation, inclusiveness, and sustained engagement with party members.
“As we prepare for future electoral responsibilities, we must remain focused on good governance, party discipline, and delivering on the expectations of Nigerians. I am committed to supporting the leadership in ensuring that our party continues to grow stronger and more responsive to the people,” he added.
