A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oluwatobi John Ogunbayo, popularly known as OJO, has formally declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Ibadan North-West and Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency.
Ogunbayo made his declaration while reaffirming his commitment to purposeful representation, grassroots development, and support for the federal government’s policy direction.
In his statement, the aspirant expressed strong faith in God, loyalty to the APC, and confidence in the people of the constituency, noting that his ambition is driven by a genuine desire to serve and uplift communities across the federal constituency.
He pledged to work in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda at the National Assembly, promising to ensure that federal programmes and initiatives effectively reach communities at the grassroots.
According to Ogunbayo, his legislative focus will include improving access to quality education, strengthening healthcare delivery, promoting trade and agriculture, and expanding economic opportunities for residents of the constituency.
The APC aspirant further emphasized that youth empowerment, women’s advancement, and children’s education would remain top priorities in his representation if elected.
“I am committed to ensuring visible development and improved healthcare services for our communities. Our youths deserve opportunities, our women deserve support, and our children deserve access to quality education,” he said.
Ogunbayo also assured residents that every ward within the constituency would receive fair and effective representation, stressing that none of the 23 wards in the federal constituency would be neglected.
“This is not about personal ambition. It is about service, responsibility, and progress. I pledge to remain accessible, transparent, and accountable while working tirelessly for the people,” he stated.
He concluded with a message of hope and unity, declaring that his vision is to ensure “Hope in Every Home,” while calling on party members and constituents to support his aspiration for a better future for Ibadan North-West and South-West.
Ogunbayo prayed for the continued success of the APC, Oyo State, and the **Nigeria.
