A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State and gubernatorial aspirant, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK), has extended warm greetings to members of the AKK Group and the wider community as Muslims and Christians observe the sacred seasons of Ramadan and Lent.
In a goodwill message released on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, Dr. Kareem described the dual spiritual seasons as a profound period of fasting, prayer, reflection, and self-discipline, urging adherents to embrace the deeper lessons of faith and service to humanity.
“As the sacred seasons of Ramadan and Lent progress, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to every member of the AKK family observing this period,” he stated. “May this season draw us closer to God, strengthen our faith, and renew our commitment to love, sacrifice, humility, and service to humanity.”
The Oyo 2027 governorship hopeful emphasized the need for unity across religious lines, noting that peace, tolerance, and mutual respect remain the foundation of a progressive society. He encouraged members of the group to remain steadfast and hopeful, while working collectively toward a brighter future for Oyo State.
Dr. Kareem further prayed for divine acceptance of the fasts and supplications of Muslim faithful and for grace and strength for Christians completing the Lenten journey.
“May Allah accept the fasts and prayers of our Muslim brothers and sisters, and may God grant our Christian brethren the grace and strength to complete the Lenten journey faithfully,” he added.
Reaffirming his progressive mantra, the APC aspirant reiterated his commitment to unity, shared prosperity, and purposeful leadership ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial race, declaring: “AKK! Aseyori ni tiwa. AKK!! Ajọṣe, Ajoje. AKK!!! A Task That Must Be Done.”
