The Akinyele chapter of the Omituntun Benedict Forum (OBF) has extended warm congratulations to its founder, Oloye Benedict Akika, Agbaakin of Olorunda-Abaa and Mayegun of Akoboland, following his conferment as Justice of the Peace (JP) by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

In a statement jointly signed by the Akinyele OBF Chairman, SSJ Oladipupo, and the chapter’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Hammed Afolabi, the group described the honour as a well-deserved recognition of Oloye Akika’s integrity, leadership qualities, and unwavering dedication to community development.

The chapter noted that the conferment of the JP title is a proud moment not only for the Forum but also for members across Akinyele Local Government, who continue to benefit from the founder’s visionary leadership and commitment to grassroots engagement.

According to the statement, Oloye Akika has consistently exemplified the virtues of fairness, humility, and service to humanity—qualities that align perfectly with the responsibilities of a Justice of the Peace.

The Akinyele OBF leadership also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for acknowledging individuals who have contributed meaningfully to the progress and stability of Oyo State, describing the gesture as a testament to the administration’s appreciation for character and service.

They concluded by praying for greater wisdom, strength, and success for Oloye Benedict Akika in his new role, expressing confidence that he will continue to uphold the values of justice, peace, and good governance.
