The Youth Public Relations Officer of the Omituntun Benedict Forum (OBF), Ilelaboye Oyedokun, has congratulated the founder of the Forum, Oloye Benedict Akika, Agbaakin of Olorunda-Abaa and Mayegun of Akoboland, on his conferment as Justice of the Peace (JP) by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
Ilelaboye described the honour as a well-deserved recognition of Oloye Akika’s unwavering dedication to community service, integrity, and grassroots development.
According to him, the conferment of the JP title is not only a personal achievement for Oloye Akika but also a proud moment for members of the Omituntun Benedict Forum, particularly the youth wing who see him as a mentor and role model.
“Oloye Benedict Akika has consistently demonstrated leadership rooted in humility, fairness, and a genuine passion for the progress of our people. This honour further affirms his commitment to peace, justice, and good governance,” Oyedokun stated.
Ilelaboye noted that Oloye Akika’s contributions to youth engagement and empowerment within the Forum and beyond have inspired many young people to embrace responsible leadership and active participation in community affairs.
He also commended Governor Seyi Makinde for recognizing individuals who have shown outstanding character and commitment to the development of Oyo State, adding that such recognition encourages others to remain steadfast in service.
Ilelaboye concluded by praying for greater wisdom and strength for Oloye Akika as he assumes the responsibilities that come with the title of Justice of the Peace.
“On behalf of the youth of Omituntun Benedict Forum, I heartily rejoice with our founder and wish him greater accomplishments in his continued service to humanity and our dear state,” he added.
