
Hon. Oyeniyi Tunde Ibrahim, a chartered administrator and committed grassroots politician from Ibadan NorthWest Local Government Area of Oyo State, has joined leaders and faithful of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the state to celebrate the completion and commissioning of the party’s new permanent secretariat in Ibadan.
In a congratulatory statement, Hon. Oyeniyi applauded Governor Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE, for what he described as a bold and visionary step toward strengthening the PDP’s institutional framework and deepening internal cohesion within the party. He noted that the project reflects the governor’s deep affection for the PDP and his resolve to position it on a firm footing ahead of future political engagements.


According to him, the newly commissioned secretariat stands as a symbol of purposeful leadership and strategic thinking, providing a befitting and functional environment for party executives, stakeholders, and members to effectively discharge their responsibilities. He added that the investment further underscores the administration’s commitment to grassroots mobilisation and participatory democracy across all local government areas.
“I commend His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for this laudable achievement. The provision of a permanent and well-equipped secretariat for our great party is a clear testament to his dedication to party growth, unity, and long-term success in Oyo State,” Hon. Oyeniyi stated.
The Hopeful for Ibadan NorthWest State Constituency described the edifice, located at Molete opposite First Bank PLC, as a rallying point for party activities and a clear indication of the PDP’s strength, stability, and readiness to continue delivering people-centred governance. He also noted that the commissioning of the facility by the National Chairman of the PDP added national prestige to the historic event.
Hon. Oyeniyi Tunde Ibrahim congratulated party leaders, executives, and supporters statewide on the milestone achievement, urging them to make effective use of the facility to promote unity, collaboration, and the advancement of the PDP’s progressive ideals.
He concluded by praying for the continued success of the PDP in forthcoming elections and for Governor Seyi Makinde’s enduring legacy beyond 2027, expressing confidence that his leadership will continue to drive good governance, development, and party cohesion in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
