A youth, Olusegun C A Taiwo OCAT of Ward 7, Ibadan NorthWest Local Government has heaped praises on the Executive Chairman, Alhaji Rahman Olanrewaju Adepoju for his impressive strides in grassroots development, describing his leadership as a direct duplication of Governor Seyi Makinde’s visionary governance style at the local level.
The commendation follows two major milestones under his administration: the recent foundation-laying ceremony of a new Magistrate Court within the council and the planned mega empowerment programme set to uplift hundreds of residents across wards.
In a commendation message via 9ja News 24/7, OCAT highlighted that the construction of the Magistrate Court is not only historic but also a strong statement of Adepoju’s dedication to strengthening justice delivery and administrative efficiency within the local government. He noted that such a facility will boost security, enhance access to justice, and support the overall development architecture of the LG.
He also expressed excitement about the forthcoming mega empowerment initiative, which they described as another bold demonstration of Hon Adepoju’s people-centered governance. According to him, the programme expected to benefit artisans, traders, students, women, and vulnerable groups aligns perfectly with the human capital development priorities championed by Governor Makinde across Oyo State.
He applauded the chairman for ensuring that the dividends of democracy trickle down to the grassroots, stating that his achievements mirror the inclusive, transparent, and progressive leadership style of Governor Makinde.
He further urged Alhaji Rahman Adepoju to continue on the path of transformational governance, assuring him of their full support as he works tirelessly to advance the socio-economic wellbeing of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government.
