As Nigeria marks her 65th Independence anniversary, Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK), has extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation and her people.
In his Independence Day message, Dr. Kareem expressed gratitude to Almighty God for sustaining the country through its journey of sovereignty, resilience, and nationhood. He acknowledged the trials, sacrifices, and triumphs that have shaped Nigeria over the decades, describing the nation as “a people bound by destiny, courage, and the eternal hope of a greater tomorrow.”
Dr. Kareem prayed that the celebration would rekindle the spirit of patriotism, unity, and service among citizens, while also calling on leaders to remain steadfast in wisdom, justice, and compassion in their governance.
“May the labour of our heroes past never be in vain, and may our youths find renewed strength to dream and achieve beyond limitations,” he noted, emphasizing the importance of peace, political stability, and economic progress.
Reaffirming his faith in Nigeria’s potential, the APC aspirant urged citizens not to lose hope in the collective destiny of the country. He envisioned a future where Nigeria would rise to her full promise as a land of prosperity, opportunities, and greatness.
“Happy Independence Day, Nigeria! Long live Oyo State, long live Nigeria, and long live our people,” Dr. Kareem declared.
