The Oyo State Park Management System (PMS) Chairman, Amb. Alhaji Abdul-Wasiu Tomiwa Omolewa popularly known as ‘Tommy’ has penned down special appreciation messages to all after inauguration by Oyo State Government as the Oyo State Park Management System (PMS) Chairman.
“My fore appreciation goes to God Almighty for the fortuity of life. I want to thank the Executive Governor Engr. Abiodun Oluwaseyi Makinde for this great lifetime opportunity to serve the good people of Oyo State. Without forgetting, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftancy matters, Hon. Olusegun Olayiwola who bestowed this honor upon myself and my Executives.
It is pertinent that I acknowledge the Olubadan of Ile Ibadan, His Imperial Majesty Oba Mohood Olalekan Ishola Balogun Ali Okunmade II (Olubadan of Ibadanland) and all the Royal Majesties as well as the High Chiefs of Ibadanland and all the Kings and Crowns all over our dear Oyo State for their unwavering and consistent support through our caretaking period and to this present day.
I can’t go on without making an Honorable mention of Otunba Seye Famojuro, the brain and architect behind the modernization of Oyo State Park Management System.
And my great people of Oyo State, you have been immense in your support and acknowledgment of our efforts in ensuring a peaceful state and a seamless Park Management System. I can’t thank you enough.
Unarguably, the few months as the Acting Chairman of Oyo State Park Management System has been a seamless and peaceful one, but all thanks to my newly sworn in State Executives, as well as Branch Executives to the Unit Executives down to every field officer for the compliance to law and order and diligence to work. Every single member of Oyo State Park Management System have been contributory to the ensuring of peaceful Oyo State. I appreciate you all.
The good citizens of Oyo State, I am making a promise to you that, the Park Management System you have seen in the last few months is not because we were still in the caretaking process, but just a taste of the great turn around that is to come in the Oyo State Park Management System. I and my Executives, we are committed to ensuring a never-seen before kind of Management. We are here to make Pacesetter State, a leading example in Parks and Union Systems to other states. And so help us God, we shall no relent on our efforts in achieving our set goals.
