
As Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-El-Maulud 2025, Hon. (Chief) Akindipe Hammed Abiodun Akinsunbo, fondly known as Igba-Otun, has extended warm greetings and prayers to the Muslim Ummah, urging them to reflect on the exemplary life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Chief Akinsunbo, who currently serves as the Supervisory Councillor for Works in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government and proudly holds the traditional title of Mayegun of Eleyele/Arometa, described the commemoration as a moment for love, peace, humility, and unity. He encouraged Muslim faithful to imbibe the virtues of the Prophet in their daily lives while working collectively for the progress of society.
In his goodwill message, Chief Akinsunbo also congratulated notable PDP leaders including the Ibadan NorthWest Local Government Chairman, Hon. Rahman Adepoju, and the PDP Oyo State Secretary, Hon. Wasiu Adeleke, acknowledging their steadfastness, loyalty, and immense contributions to the growth and stability of the party.
He further commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his purposeful leadership, people-centered policies, and remarkable strides in infrastructure, education, and social welfare. According to him, Governor Makinde remains a shining example of visionary governance whose impact continues to resonate across the state.
“As we celebrate this year’s Maulid Nabi, may the light of the Prophet’s teachings guide us towards peace, unity, and prosperity. I congratulate our party leaders and commend our dear Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his selfless leadership and dedication to the progress of Oyo State,” Akinsunbo stated.
