In a show of unwavering grassroots support, The GSMists Volunteers 4 DONDEAL 2025, a political advocacy movement under the leadership of Prince Oluyinka Tella, has unveiled a series of strategic activities to boost the candidacy of Hon. Fola Oyekunle (DON), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer in the forthcoming House of Representatives bye-election for Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
With the August 16 poll fast approaching, the group has begun mounting campaign billboards, distributing posters and flyers, and airing radio jingles across key stations to raise public awareness and galvanize voter participation. These efforts are aimed at sensitizing residents about the importance of the upcoming election and rallying support for the PDP candidate.
According to Hon. Yomi Olajide, popularly known as Ore Gomina and serving as the Chief Coordinator and Director of The GSMists, volunteers have also embarked on intensive grassroots mobilization, reaching voters in every nook and cranny of the constituency.
“Our mission is clear — total support for Hon. Fola Oyekunle to emerge victorious. We are engaging the electorate at all levels to ensure PDP retains this vital seat,” Olajide affirmed.
The GSMists, known for their consistent alignment with Governor Seyi Makinde’s progressive agenda, have pledged to sustain the momentum until the party secures a resounding victory at the polls.
