The candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the House of Representatives, Oluyole Federal Constituency, Hon. Tokunbo Ogunsola, today, 10th of July, 2026, attended the ADC Oluyole Local Government meeting held at Muslim Grammar School, Odinjo, Ibadan.
Addressing party faithful, Hon. Ogunsola described the gathering as an opportunity to return all glory to God following his emergence as the duly nominated ADC candidate and the successful upload of his name on the INEC portal.
He emphasized that the party’s primary process produced no victors or vanquished, stressing that everyone remains one united family with a common goal of securing victory for the ADC in the 2027 general elections. He urged members to close ranks and work collectively for the success of all the party’s candidates, including the presidential candidates, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi; the Oyo State governorship candidate, Oloye Taofeek Adegboyega; the Oyo Central Senatorial candidate, Rt. Hon. Kamil Mudasiru Akinlabi; the House of Representatives candidate for Oluyole Federal Constituency, Hon. Tokunbo Ogunsola; and the Oluyole State Constituency House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Dolapo Adelana.
Hon. Ogunsola charged party members to intensify grassroots mobilization from the polling unit to the ward level, noting that elections are ultimately won at the grassroots.
He also expressed deep appreciation to the leadership of the party; from the national level down to the ward structures, for their dedication, sacrifice, and commitment toward returning power to the people in 2027.
In a show of appreciation to party members and stakeholders, Hon. Tokunbo Ogunsola donated ₦800,000 to support those in attendance. The donation was distributed as follows:
₦600,000 for general sharing among party faithful.
₦100,000 for the women’s wing.
₦50,000 for the youth wing.
₦50,000 for community stakeholders present at the meeting.
The gesture was received with excitement and appreciation, further demonstrating Hon. Tokunbo Ogunsola’s commitment to the welfare, unity, and growth of the ADC family in Oluyole Federal Constituency as the party prepares for victory in 2027.
