The Oyo State Government, led by Governor Seyi Makinde, is set to host the 2024 Ibadan Marathon, themed “Ere Idaraya”, on November 2nd, 2024. This prestigious event aims to promote sports, tourism, and community development, while celebrating the city’s rich cultural heritage and historic landmarks.
At a press conference held earlier today, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke expressed pride in being part of this initiative, which promised to showcase the city’s diversity and promote a healthy lifestyle. The marathon’s curated course is designed to cater to athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike, making it an inclusive event for all.
