In a heartwarming display of gratitude and commitment to his constituents, Hon. Rilwan Oladeji Ogun has marked his 100th day in office by gifting school kits, resuscitating borehole and empowerment to communities in need.
The school kits, which include essential learning materials, aim to support students’ academic success.
Additionally, the borehole provides clean water sources for communities, alleviating the burden of accessing this basic necessity. This is especially crucial, as seen in the Oganla Borehole Project, which shall benefit the immediate community and sub.
Whereas he gave some cash as a sustainable empowerment package to 21 residents of the community as his attitude of giving back to the society.
Hon. Ogun also took the opportunity to express his appreciation to parents, Ogun’s family, Alhaji (Dr) Dawood Akanni Olalere D-Al-Ameen, Executive Chairman Alhaji AbdulRahman Adepoju, Executive Officers of PDP Ward 7, Immediate Past Councillor, Hon (Prince) Lateef Jaiyeoba Letua, Supportive Member Arabambi, leaders and stakeholders who have supported him throughout his journey.
He noted that his willingness is influenced by fulfilment of his campaign promises and emulating of party leading leaders such as Governor Seyi Makinde, State Honourable Dr D-Al-Ameen, Executive Chairman Alhaji Rahman Adepoju, on Education and Empowerment.
The Leader of SoroSoke Media and Member Representing Ibadan NorthWest State Constituency, Hon (Dr) Dawood Akanni Olalere expressing his excitement, appreciated the community and political leaders for their support to the Councillor and development of the ward.
“This initiative is a testimony of God’s will and redefinition of dividends in the recent politics. We all can testify that our empowerments are always regular. The activities of the Councillor is an achievement to me and his willingness to do good to society.” Dr D-Al-Ameen stated.
