Honourable Adeniran emerged as the bearer, councilor ward 6, subsequently those who had seen, benefited from his previous years as councilor have no reservations for him to clinch the throne.
All said and done, in about 100 days ago Honourable Adeniran was elected again.
Yesterday, the joyous mood of the peoples of Ward 6, Ibadan Southwest Local Government confirmed the reason why Honourable Sulaimon was their choosing councilor in the last local government elections after almost 17 years ago.
Honourable Adeniran as a staunch grassroot and an opulent man, presented huge cash sum in #100,000 to 20 selected people to serve as succour, something to relieve incessant hardship brought upon the land by insensitive federal government, more so, to serve as a feedback and his initial commitment, the cash distribution was terms as one out of his promises to the good peoples of Ward 6.
The selection committee as headed by Mr. Dauda Adeyemo AKA “Olas” came up with a list that shows the true state of individuals who if it was done from “who gets what at a time” may never reached those who needs it more.
Yesterday event took the people of Ward 6 by surprise, because the cash distribution as donated by Honourable Sulaimon was one of its kind, and first in the political trajectory of Ibadan Southwest Local Government.
The good people of Ward 6, maintained that what they witnessed yesterday corroborate their initial standing at the inception of these political struggle, because some people out of their ignorance about happenings within the Ward 6 Ibadan Southwest Local did their impossible best to thwarted the candidacy of Honourable Adeniran.
They opined that if a councilor out of his meagre allowance could deem it necessary to give his ward such huge sum it means a dedication to serve.
As a leading figure among those who resisted the imposition of wrong candidate on the people’s of Ward 6, the erstwhile councilor Honourable Kazeem Adesokan maintained that his then rebuke has turned into a thing of joy because Honourable Adeniran didn’t failed as they projected him. For the entire people of ward 6 after almost 17 years to insist on the candidacy of Honourable Sulaimon Abiodun Adeniran that means he has never for once failed them.
Supervising councilor ward 6, Honourable Amole Wasiu, while showing his appreciation for the cash distribution commends Honourable Sulaimon and reiterated his personal commitment to lend his own support anytime, he explained further that political officeholders were just a head figure that represent majority.
